The Waterworks Studio Story

The Waterworks Studio Ltd and TileWorks Studio Ltd is owned by Nigel Fryer and Bradley Nicholls, dedicated professional plumbers in Barrow-in-Furness with more than 50+ years combined experience. Having first set up together in 2002, the team soon decided to expand their business to include a small showroom on Walney Island in 2004. From here, as the business continued to thrive, they moved to premises on Ashburner Way in 2007, before moving again to their current, larger bathroom showroom premises on Phoenix Court in March 2023.

Meet The Waterworks Studio Team

The Waterworks Studio is headed up by Company Directors, Nigel and Brad. Nigel has 41 years’ experience working in people’s homes, whilst Brad is a fellow director who has worked with Nigel since leaving school to complete his plumbing apprenticeship. To date, Brad has 21 years practical plumbing experience. He also spends a lot of his time in the showroom, visiting customers, creating beautiful design proposals, line managing the installation team, and generally keeping everything and everyone well organised and up to date!

Nigel and Brad are supported by a team of loyal, hardworking staff. This includes Office Manager, Chloe, and Showroom Manager, Annemarie, who works very closely with the showroom team, Emma and Lucy. Our specialist bathroom installation teams are led by George and Ben. We also ensure all our apprentices go to Kendal College one day each week to complete their training with formal qualifications.
